Crafted for the 2023 Richard Freiner Design Scholarship competition, which focuses on outdoor furnishings, this collection draws inspiration from he issue of pervasive light pollution, aiming to reconnect humans with the natural night sky. Exploring themes of stars, physics equations, and galaxies, the designs reimagine outdoor furniture and spaces to evoke celestial wonder. Additionally, theoretical designs incorporate UV pigments that alter color when exposed to sunlight, promoting the reduction of artificial light.
