Alexander McQueen Recreation: Blouse and Short

For our final project in Fashion Pattern Development, we were challenged to recreate two designer garments using only a reference image from a website. I was assigned an Alexander McQueen button-down blouse with dramatic wide cold shoulders and a pair of tailored shorts featuring both front and back pleats, tasked with accurately drafting patterns to capture every detail and silhouette.

I used SCAD's on-site fabric printing to bring my repeat design to life on cotton fabric, incorporating it into the shirt for a fully customized final piece that captured both the essence of the original Alexander McQueen design and my personal creative touch.
