Fashion Draping: Styleline Jacket

Tasked with designing a styleline jacket from repurposed fabrics, I began by draping muslin directly onto a women’s dress form to shape and define the garment’s unique silhouette. Using this initial muslin drape, I created custom paper pattern pieces that captured each design detail, from the collar and lapels to the jacket's varied style lines. With careful attention to structure, I cut and sewed the final fabrics, integrating linings for a polished finish. This project combined precision in patternmaking with creativity in sustainable design, transforming repurposed materials into a sophisticated, one-of-a-kind jacket.
