Malia Anderson

In this collaborative project, I partnered with textile designer Malia Anderson to support the development of a three-look swimwear capsule. While she created the original textile repeats, I drafted the garment patterns and constructed the final bikini sets. My work included developing precise sewing patterns, refining fit and structure, and executing each piece with a high level of technical accuracy and craftsmanship. The completed designs were photographed in her hometown in O’ahu, Hawai‘i, highlighting the integration of her surface design with my garment construction. This collaboration strengthened my appreciation for interdisciplinary partnerships and the value of combining specialized skill sets to achieve a beautiful collection of swimsuits!
